There's a huge difference between blindly pulling a straight party ticket for the "dems" as a "protest vote" - and those that intelligently vote based on independent study and weighting the candidates as individuals (not party labels) - thus assuming that a Kinky (or a few other non-"Reps") are voted into office, that's a far, far cry from tossing the entire state gov't into the laps of the "dems"...
