Maryland already botched their primaries by 8 this morning. Montomgery and Baltimore counties (yes - both fairly rabid Dem) didn't open on time, turned people away and Montco forgot to send out the voter cards for the machines.

Umm... not Karl Rove, of course. Baltimore County and Montgomery County Democrats are relatively largely black, and the Democratic establishment plainly does not want Mfume to win.

NOTE: While MoCo and BalmerCo have largely black, Democratic populations, I must point out (or else people will be pouncing all over me) that BalmerCo does NOT include Balmer City, and MoCo is the "whiter" of the two inner DC-area counties.
