The bombing of the Cole was not something that was far away therefore not disturbing to me. I thought then, and now that it was an act of war. It was an act of war as was the first bombing of the Trade Center, and Clinton did nothing. He was so trying to pretend that his administration was the era of peace and prosperity that he put all of us in harms way. I knew it then, I know it now.

A U.S. warship represents America. It is American "soil", when you attack a U.S. warship, you are attacking American soverignty. If, as president, one fails to take action on those who attack a U.S. warship, the president is a coward.
I am still in a rage over the do-nothing cowards of that day, of that decade, let the chips fall where they may.
