An aviation aside:

In one newsmagazine (ABC/CBS/NBC?) in the months following 9-11, there was a
Port Authority supervisor that talked about the helicopters that
they had aloft around the Towers on 9-11.
I'm not sure of the actual time, but at some point (I suppose right after the
two strikes), he told the helicopter pilots that if they saw another incoming
jetliner and if they could get in the way of a jet...ram them.

That's how desperate it was.

Of course, today it's a WHOLE DIFFERENT BALL GAME. They brought 2 Star Jackman into DC to set up the defense for the east coast...and from what I understand...he did a wonderful job...Rumsfeld brings a new Army Chief of Staff out of retirement who was ALWAYS connected to SOPS Shoemaker...completely restored our military to the best in the world...it's unbelievable what Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld have done to protect this country....Rumsfeld went out of the Pentagon and selected military men away from the group Toon had put in place...and picked patriotic military men.

Why can't the Dems see the severity of all this??
Or are they just that desperate to get the White House back?
