Even if you are the primary bread winner during her education (as I was), that tends to be forgotten when the tables turn after her career becomes established.It works the same way when the tables are reversed and the wife is staying home. :-)

Somewhat true, but the wife is less likely to be hit upside the head with a guilt trip about not "contributing".
