Women have to work because for the most part we live in a society that is based upon our *wants* the best house the best car the best toys etc...
Mortgages Insurance Health, Car, food, vacations etc is more than most men can make to support a medium to large family.
Sure many professions as a Physician, Lawyer, Successful business owner might be able to support a family on his income but a man making 100K would not be able to support a wife and 3 kids unless they live very simply which many people are un-willing to do now a days.
I just wish that my mom's friends would stop throwing their daughters at me. I mean, I'm just walking down the street, and it's like, "INCOMING!" And next thing I know, I'm calling an ambulance for yet another poor girl whose mother trebuchet'd her at me, and who hit the ground and rolled for a few yards as a result. That sort of thing just isn't safe.
Wife, three kids,dog,log cabin in country, 40acre duck club,40 acres of timber for deer hunting,
2 trucks and a mini can for the little lady all on less than 60,000 a year. Happy household after 20 yrs of marriage.

That entire statement is disgusting. Not only is it not true, but if you choose material goods over the well being of your children, then you should not have kids.
