Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.

But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate -- we can not consecrate -- we can not hallow -- this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us -- that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion -- that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth

Rush had a liberal caller on who was saying the standard line that 9-11 was an inside job (blah blah), so I wrote him and told him I was canceling my membership because the liberal callers have become the website parodies and I was no longer paying for what others were getting for free.

Here's what he said:

RUSH: Well, listen to this, folks. Just checking the e-mail here during the EIB profit center time-out. Dear Rush -- it's from a website subscriber -- dear Rush: I'm sorry to say that last liberal caller from Philadelphia has convinced me to cancel my 24/7 membership. Rush, I joined 24/7 so I could listen to all the Rush parodies, but when liberal callers become the parodies themselves, and you can hear it on the free side and the radio, why should I pay you to scribe to your website? If you want to keep me as a subscriber, I demand these callers now be limited to 24/7 only. Tell your brother David I said hello. I had the chance to meet him as last year's Washington, DC, troop rally. Signed, Kevin Martin. You know, that's a good point. I hadn't even thought of that. It is -- it is getting tougher to parody these people, because the way they're acting is funnier than we can write it. But, man, I appreciate the marketing help there.

If they go out of their way to bash Bush, which I think we would have heard about by now, that will backfire on them big-time.

If they try the dumb cowboy routine, that'll backfire, too. W has pretty much proved that it's good to be a cowboy and cowboys ain't dumb.

Everybody knows that while *something* important was going on---whether it was getting the bad guys or what---The Sinkmeister was fighting for his political life, even going before the cameras to lie to the American people, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman . . . Ms. Lewinsky .. ."

I agree with you 100%---gotta go with Lieberman. For a variety of reasons.

Not the least of which is a Lieberman victory would face-slap the moonbat left and make MRS BILL CLINTON quake in her considerable knees.

There's the Hildebeast equivalent of Skeery's "I voted for the $87B before I voted against it" in there somewhere if Lieberman wins. Something like "I was for the war like Joe is before I was against the war like Ned was."

Didn't this remind of the Paul Shanklin routine where Larry King is interviewing Ken Starr and he keeps asking him stuff such as "Isn't it true that space aliens say you're just out to get the President . . . we'll be right back after this important break."

Yes, Cheney is a gold mine everytime he speaks. He's more well liked and respected then the Democrats will EVER admit. But they know it. :)
