You know, I think you've got a major point here. Because when I watched that famous TV scene in the context of that movie I was so shocked, just so shocked at all that it meant.
It showed ole Bill as the big sleaze bucket that he was and combined with the events depicted in that movie, the effect was just shocking. Snipping a couple of scenes changed not a thing. The Dems are experts at spin. They knew this movie was a shocker and it wasn't about a couple of words or a few scenes.
OOOOH...only one minute cut Rush now says. I didn't think so. That movie gave me resolve and I thought I already had resolve enough but there you have it.
And if you can't get rid of the RINOs in the primaries, you just gotta live with them and realize that you are creating a Republican majority, whereby maybe some good guys can get in positions of leadership.
I learned that lesson well during the Klintoon impeachment. Our congressman was a total RINO. However, by voting for him and giving the Pubs a majority, I had helped put Henry Hyde in a place to be chairman of the Judiciary Committee, etc.
All politics is national!

GOOD FOR ROBERY EIGER!!! I'm shocked he didn't cave to the Democrats. I REALLY thought he would have caved and gutted the first half of the movie. This has marginalized the Democrats in Congress, because their threats had no impact. THAT is very important.
And the fact that this was on ABC and not FOX or something, that's pretty profound.

I mentioned the concept of Upstate seceding and forming its own state to a local pol recently, BTW. The look on his face was priceless. Hope I gave him nightmares :)

My bet is that after this movie our numbers will dramatically improve while theirs will fall.
I also think that to counter all that they will once again obfuscate, lie and deceive with their polling like they always do.
. Slick pollers will poll immediately before the event so the numbers will not change and everyone will think the event had no effect when it really did.
Watch for this to be the case on the path to 9/11 movie, I would bet on it.
Theses traitors are nothing if not slick,and remember they live and die by polls.
