Yeah that's such a typical lie. I mean, it takes over a year for Presidential economic policy to kick in and take effect. Which is why the economy didn't start booming until 2003, a couple years after Bush took office and cut taxes, and a year after 9-11, that surely added time to the recovery. the late 90's and 2000 and 2001 was the Clinton Recession, caused by his policies of the 90s which created it, and the early 90s was the Reagan/Bush economic boom, created by their policies and tax cuts which took years to create given the horrible state of the economy they inherrited from Jimmah Cateh. Anyone with a basic understanding of supply and demand economics knows all this to be true. It's just beyond stupid to suggest that Clinton had anything to do with the recession. If he was so great, then the economy wouldn't have started to smell in 1998 and 1999, and his great policies would have still had the economy good in the early part of 2001 before Bush passed a single economic piece of order or sent anything to the Congress. It's just that simple.
I can't wait to tune into FR tomorrow to get everyone's take on tonight's episode. I'm under the impression that the criticism for Bush isn't nearly as awful as Clinton's.
And you're right. Clinton had 8 years to fight terrorism. Bush didn't have a full 8 months!!!
Did any of you notice that El Rushbo is now saying the democrat party and not the democratic party? Maybe, Sean will get the hint.
That's just sick. Beyond sick. I'd like to see someone who was AT 9-11 and see them say that they think Bush has damaged America more then 9-11. What a perverse notion.
Ratings for this type of movie are actually quite good. Clinton blew it (in a manner of speaking). Without this hype and controversy, the ratings would have been really bad.
I think those that are engaged in politics, those that vote, they watched. And the passive political observers that saw it, those were the people Clinton didn't want to see this movie because it illustrated the his administration was a complete failure.

Any word on how many local affiliates didn't show the movie?
If ABC refuses to make available the uncut version, that's going to be even more telling.

YES YES YES!!! Disney release a FULL UNEDITED VERSION of "Pathway to 9-11". With a making of documentary, and ALL cut scenes inserted into the movie for one full unedited, unclintonized version, a full length DIRECTOR'S CUT!
