Their leftiness has made them all insane. Or vice versa, I'm not sure which it is.

John Murtha uses 9/11 to brag about porking Ted Kennedy ...there....a much more entertaining title

Last time I was in Shanksville over the summer most improvements to the memorial looked very much grassroots/local. Federal money, where??

Is Murtha bragging about that memorial to the islamic swine jihadist murderers? The RED CRESCENT memorial? Interesting that it opens to Mecca ....
If America continues to elect cowards and traitors as "sheeple leaders" they will deserve what the islamic hordes give them.

The loopy moon bats just go goose-stepping along. They don't care about security. They don't care about our way of life slipping away or in some instances, being stolen. They don't care sane, rational thinkers remaining who refuse to have the left wing agenda foisted upon them. And they SURELY don't care about free speech. That is unless it espouses amnesty for illegals, the gay agenda and kow towing to radical Islamofacists

If Murtha had been on Flight 93 5 years ago today, he would have been telling his fellow passengers to not provoke the terrorists, sit down, follow the instructions of the hijackers, and "everything will be fine".
And Murtha could have completed that express flight back to the Capitol building, but probably not in the way he would have been expecting.
That POS might have served in the Corps, but he was never a Marine, not in spirit, not in honor, certainly not in GUTS!

What we see in this is the way the democrats view this war, just politics, bring home the bacon. They see it the same way they look at (say) a highway bill.

Support Diana Irey and retire this Congressman who trashes our military if he believes it will further his political ambitions.

I have yet to see any polls on this race. Given the prominence it's attracting, why haven't any been published?

He also obtained much funding for the bike trail that goes through his district (The Great Allegheny Passage) . Funding for that project dwarfs the 9/11 memorial site funding.
From Pittsburgh live website: "Funding for the various projects comes largely from federal Intermodal Surface Transportation Equity Act grants, as well as state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources recreation and conservation grants. So far, the project has cost about $35 million."
This project will likely spend an additional $15 million to connect the trail to Pittsburgh. I have ridden the trail, it is nice but what a waste of tax payer money.
