Actually, I think that hologram is still on my Comments page, if I wanted to go flipping back all the way to July to find it...and I might just have to do that, if I want to figure out who was president of the Morgan Reynolds Fan Club...
I've never followed any of the moonbat theories and I don't even recognize that name.
You know, that's a good point. I hadn't thought about that.
>>they're educated; <<
So? It just proves what my dad used to say when I was a kid: "educated idiots".
You can send a moron to school. That doesn't make him smart - it just makes him an educated person who is dumb as a brick. I see a lot of them on crevo threads.
I don't pay any attention to this particular theory but one thing that would put an end to a lot of the speculation is if tapes of the Pentagon crash were released and if things happened the way we've been told, it would end a lot of the debate.
In an attempt to put this in British terms (i.e. as a dry, deadpanned understatement), let me offer this observation:
"Many people in the intelligence business are somewhat eccentric."
I could tell stories and expand on that statement for the better part of the evening. Instead, I'll simply add this, and go:
"There's a reason they call it 'the intelligence community' and not 'the common sense community'"
Morgan Reynolds has a PhD in
(wait for it)
Economics.
He used to work in the Department of Labor in the present administration, I believe.
His education and work history make him uniquely qualified to render opinions on physics and engineering (cough!). That's why he's one of the Scholars for 9/11 Truth.
So you're saying you were not touting Morgan Reynolds a couple months back?
BTW, how would releasing tapes of the Pentagon crash end the debate among people (like Morgan Reynolds) who believe *no planes* hit the Twin Towers?
What would it hurt? One reason the OKC debate has gone on and on is that the feds confiscated tapes from across the street that would've proven their thesis and shut up a lot of people.
As far as Mr. Reynolds I think he's a very intelligent person.......you don't rise up to his level in the gov't by being a stooge.....I just don't pay attention or agree with certain assertions nor more than you'd agree with everything GWB or Cheney tells us.
Tell!
Now I am glad that I stopped short of getting my degree in Economics. Who knows what kind of theories I'd be espousing right now.
I think the reason we have all these nuts running around loose is because now the men in the white coats don't seem to come collect people as much as they used to. It really is a pity.
Moonbats!
Apparently you are more of a government-worshipper than you care to admit. There are plenty of stooges who have risen even higher in government. If you want names, we could be here all night.
That aside, what, pray tell, do you you find "intelligent" about Morgan Reynolds' no-plane theory?
I'm curious, you see, because he was just featured in a segment on Brit Hume, and didn't exactly fit my definition of an intelligent person.
LOL - reminds me of "The Little General", the "Hand Grenade with a Bad Haircut" - where has Perot been lately, anyway?
Down in Highgate,
A loon cries in pain.
As if having remembered
something better forgotten.
"So, they were missles shaped like 737s? Right."
Missles shaped like 737s filled with passengers and luggage too!
You sure haven't been paying attention. The Pentagon surveilance tapes were released under a FOI motion. They showed (surprise!) an airplane crashing into the building.
We weren't "told" how things happen. We saw them happening on our television sets, listened to eye witnesses, and otherwise acted logically and sanely.
