I'm glad the survivors you know are doing as well as they are. I think of the valor during Flt. 93 quite regularly and I am struck with the pride in that heroism. They saved many lives, I'm sure of that. They knew about the WTC already and they were determined to foil Part 3 of the plan.
In fairness, the guys I knew were all in Finance, and were pretty set before hand. I worry a lot more about the fireMEN (They were all MEN, dammit, not PC "fighters") and cops. And, yeah, I'm sure none of the guys on 93 were setting the world on fire (excuse the metaphor). Then, of course there were busboys and waiters in Windows On The World. But, still, it was mostly finance people. Cantor alone lost 658 of them. Which probably goes a long way to explaining Lutnik's alligator arms.
