I don't think he needs to: the media will do most of the legwork for him.

admitting that he made the final decision to turn the offer down.
In the 9/11 Commission Report he attributes his knowledge of the offer from Sudan to press reports and claims he misspoke. The Report uses quotes around misspoke.

Tough sh!t, he said it.
His denial of it was so incredibly, pathetically lame...

His denial of it was so incredibly, pathetically lame... He probably had a bimbo waiting and was in a hurry to get back to her.

I was waiting for this tape to surface again. Sean used to play it constantly.
That said, the MSM will bury it. The Klintoon legacy is the new media's biggest test yet.

Notice how the GREAT BENT ONE, always seem to be AWAL when the crap is just about to hit the fan?! I hear he is over in Canada for a birthday bash...how freakin convenient! I remember him always leaving the country when things got hot and nasty for him here. A matter of fact wasn't he awarded the title for the MOST TRAVELED President in US history?
To: wagglebee
At the time, 1996, he had committed no crime against America so I did not bring him here because we had no basis on which to hold him, though we knew he wanted to commit crimes against America. Right from Clinton' own lips.
A perfect example of why we cannot fight the war on terror as if we were chasing a bunch of bank robbers. This is war. When you KNOW someone wants to commit crimes against AMERICA (as opposed to the First Nat'l Bank), you do a preemptive strike and knock out your enemy before he can strike you. It's a military thing.

The only preemptive actions the Klintoons ever took were Waco, Elian Gonzalez and Arkancide.

"Mr. bin Laden used to live in Sudan. He was expelled from Saudi Arabia in '91 and he went to the Sudan.
We'd been hearing that the Sudanese wanted America to start dealing with them again. They released him [bin Laden].
At the time, '96, he had committed no crime against America, so I did not bring him here because we had no basis on which to hold him, though we knew he wanted to commit crimes against America.
So I pleaded with the Saudis to take him, 'cause they could have; but they thought it was a hot potato. They didn't and that's how he wound up in Afghanistan."

historic bin laden quiz
does anyone remember the particulars of ollie north being questioned during the contra scandal about the amount of money he had spent on his alarm system on account of his fear of the most evil man...bin laden? and what year/where did he learn so much about bin laden?
To: RoseofTexas
Yes he was...and remember when he loaded up Air Force One with about two hundred of his DNC buddies for a trip to Russia and points east about the time the blue dress showed and the impeachment hearings were going on!! I should add that this was ALL at tax payers expense..

That's an urban myth. In 1987, the Soviets were still in Afghanistan, and bin Laden was on the side of the Muhjahadeen who we were supporting. The person who Oliver North mentioned in his testimony was Abu Nidal.
