Real cause of the sudden collapse of the Twin Towers.

I saw an interesting analysis of the collapse the other evening on PBS. Apparently as the metal floor joists began to melt from the high heat they pulled the outer wall inwards, as much as 5 feet at which point they fractured out of the wall and the whole collapse sequence began.

Thanks for posting this with your comments, Jim. I am on the email list for the 9/11 conspiracy kooks. No matter how many times I point out to them that they have false assertions and inaccuracies and that they contradict themselves all over the place, they insist that we are all blind sheep who do not see the truth.

When I challenge them that to make such a sick and perverse accusation that somehow our government was responsible for or complicit in one of the most horrific human tragedies in history means that they should be able to PROVE their claims, not just jump from one assertion to another (as each is disproven) they sit there unmoved.

They do not take any responsibility for the damage they do to this nation by attempting to seed false notions that the Bush administration is out to get them as part of some new secert fascist movement.

It's really really sick stuff and these people are uttlerly shameless and disgraceful.

There was some professor on FoxNews spouting this garbage.

I was disappointed that the interviewer didn't ask him to explain, that if it was an inside job by the US government, does he think Bin Laden is working WITH the US government, since he acknowledged that it was an Al Qaeda operation multiple times, we even have videos of it, more recently a video of Bin Laden with some of the 9-11 hijackers being trained for the operation.

The questioning was very feeble, but the idiot professor didn't even have answers to any of those questions, just keep repeating his mantra.

There's one thing these conspiracy nuts fail to realize. If there is an organization big enough to carry out this conspiracy, it's big enough to cover its tracks by planting false clues to lead you away from the real conspiracy.

If there is a real conspiracy, we'll never really know it until it is too late.

If there isn't, we're wasting time and energy trying to figure out what the conspiracy is.
