WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid released the following statement on Vice President Cheney's appearance today on NBC's "Meet the Press."
"Vice President Cheney's influence over our nation's foreign policy and defense has made America less safe. The Vice President was a chief architect of the effort to manipulate intelligence to build a case for invading Iraq, he ignored the threat of insurgencies, he took our eye off the ball in Afghanistan.....

I see blood in the water: That Reid is bashing Cheney shows he's been listening to his underlings saying "Well, Cheney is unpopular, let's attack HIM, too!"
Desperation--The New Cologne from The Democrat Party!

Used to give the good folks of Nevada more credit then they obviously deserve. What are they thinking voting Reid in? Nearly as bad as N.Y. voting for a carpet bagging bitch but ya gotta expect that from N.Y.

When they say there are more terrorists now, one has to ask "compared to what?" How can you know how many more there would have been now, if we took a different course of action? You can't. Their argument is like those who say we should quit fighting drugs because we still have to fight them. Well, Moses laid down the law forbidding murder, and we still have it, too. The reasoning is specious.

It would be interesting to know just what Harry Reid's IQ is.
He's got to be up there someplace with Joe Biden and the other DemocRAT biggies.
He doesn't look or sound as though he had sense enough to poke sand down a rathole.
To: Sub-Driver
Did he make the statement before or after the interview. Talk about a man w/o a clue! Could you see HilaryCare's lips moving when he talked??

I think Reid has never gotten over his high school days when he was the consensus class weirdo and therefore the football team's target for daily wedgies in the hallways between classes. He has been whining ever since.

This is all based on the dems OUTRAGEOUS FEAR that Cheney will run for President.
So now the attack begins in earnest .. must use the politics of personal destruction to keep the public from voting for Cheney (who's not running).

Clinton got gagged bounded by events such as the Monica play cigar he smelled at, Monica's semen stained dress, or as Commander in Chief talking to Field commanders in Serbia while Monica in full action.
Clinton had nowhere to go, depending on every fringe group regardless how far radical or to the left to keep their approvals/favors, and his job.
No decisions were made to secure the country without first polling as to who's against it.
Attacks on americans, world wide, were left hanging, open, or evaded, leading directly into 9/11.
Investigations: Every move for eight months prior to and preceding 9/11 was highlighted, spun, politicized.
For eight years or 96 months preceding 9/11 cover ups, smoothing, denials, silence prevailed.
During these 8 crucial years preparations, organization, detail planning, by Osama and his followers were in full swing.
Time to start exposing the cover up and shine light on Clinton's evade maneuvers, if for nothing else but to prevent terror attacks made possible by presidential distractions, accompanying lack of indecisiveness and lack of leadership.

Yes it was, wasn't it. The VP had a couple of good zingers in there.

It's days like this I wish President Bush would quit the job one day early---on Jan. 19, 2009---so I can say "President Cheney" a few hundred times to these moonbat traitors.Wouldn't that be a hoot. Politicians love sports analogies. It would be like the NE Patriots letting Doug Flutie do that weird drop-kick field goal in the last game of his career--a meaningless gesture of respect for a great player.

Well stated! Saddam was up to his eyeballs in terror, provided sanctuary for terrorists and had orchestrated an attempt to assassinate the first President Bush. Almost all the crop of current antiwar congressional 'Rats including Hillary are on record from five years or so ago, that Saddam had to be removed. How quickly we forget!

Senator Reid Just Doesn't Get It. Probably true about every way in which that phrase can be taken...oh sorry, that's "doesn't get ANY".
