For several hundred years the gene-flow was from Ireland to Scandinavia

Would this be one of those kidnapping the womenfolk & taking them back home kind of things? Maybe there's some history that I'm missing, cuz I hadn't heard about a male Irish to Scandinavia movement.

The bad boys in Northern Ireland conquered Scotland. They vastly outnumbered the Scandinavians they were running into.

Besides, the Vikings (like the Angels before them) were into human bondage and regularly sold spare women, and purchased strong men.
