His polling accuracy comment was in response to my question to him regarding folks (like my two kids, both college grads, both employed) who don't own land-line phones, and how cell phone users impact their ability to get a true picture, because they are missing a large demograpic in their polling.

That's true! There are more cell phones than land line phones. Another point is caller id--who wants to be called by someone they don't know?
The last point is that the polls are weighted towards Dems, which means that it's common that they get overrepresented.
