Here 's this sunday's Media Nuggets

###### Truth has a way of ......... - On the 1st week after the Setember 11-nth, leading network bigwigs went to their lowest levels in discussing the President's competence to handle the crisis. Well........ those leading anchors Tom Brokah, Dan Rather, & Peter Jennings are all history.

###### Associated Press Reporter Spied For Saddam?

###### MSM on life support - Nationwide, Jobless rate at it's lowest in decades. Meanwhile, MSM's job-less-ness is growing & growing & growing.........[just in the last 6 years.]

###### Where 's the outrage? - Steve Centanni's kidnappers said they did it because they thought he is a CIA spy. Now a journalist comes out & blows the never-revealed-secret of Anderson Cooper's CIA connection, just when CNN announced that Cooper will air live from Afghanistan on 9/11.

###### MSNBC born with innovation, followed by ratings frustration. Staff cutbacks next?

###### Southern Views Magazine interviews Fox News Channel's Dagen McDowell .

###### No,.....thanks! - Rosie O'Donnell is funding GreenStone Media to launch a talk radio network aimed at women featuring abortion activist Gloria Steinem and Jane Fonda.

###### A Republican Grows in D.C - TONY WILLIAMS, ie., the 26-year-old son of NPR correspondent and Fox News contributor Juan Williams Weekly Standard catching-up.

###### Lying Liberal Media.

###### Cindy Sheehan's sister tried to beat up Anderson Cooper? Would have been nice if we knew this from CNN.

###### Americans for Truth is asking Fox News Channel to be "fair and balanced".

###### MTV Awards Suffer Big Hit in Ratings.

You could just ask me. ;^)

The answer is, as dangerous as Her Heinousness and Ketchup Boy are to the future of this country, Algore is even worse, and yes, I do think he's going to run in '08. Many people here, including myself, think John McCain is unbalanced, but he pales in comparison to Mr. "I invented the internet". In the aftermath of Sept. 11, 2001, even liberals said they were happy that it was George W. Bush in the Oval Office and not the nutjob from Tennessee.

One unintended consequence of the Clinton wails and the avalanche of TV coverage = the formerly uninformed will have their interest piqued enough to tune in and learn that the Clinton administration failed to 'get' Bin Laden and that there were terrorist acts long before 9/ll.

Bubba and company thought they owned Disney. Now they're besides themselves with fury. Fun to watch, isn't it.

Notice Bubba, bubbette, and the heinous one took the opportunity to do a fundraiser in Toronto on this every weekend. No respect for those who lost their lives on 9/11.

Will the media be report this...not likely.

It'd be hard for the GOP debate to match that one in terms of entertainment value.

Don't you have to win an election at some point?!

I guess that's not a requirement for dems. At least, so it seems.

Re: the "Great Controvery Miniseries", I posted this the other day and thought it bore repeat.

"I believe they are going to get slammed for this...."

If ABC runs the series with no edits, but adds a disclaimer every thirty seconds to CYA, John Q is going to watch the movie, ignore the disclaimers and the dims are screwed.

If ABC edits h*** out of it and adds the disclaimers, the word that they've done so is still going to get out (especially after all the fuss and feathers from the dims), John Q is going to smell a very large skunk in the woodpile, and both ABC and the dims are screwed.

If ABC pulls the series, everybody from Rush to the Viking Kitty is going to absolutely go bugnuts on the network and every dim in sight or hearing (I've already started my letter to Max Baucus, but have had to stop because I don't want to beat up on my keyboard that much without just cause), the national circulation of the Bootleg copy of the original is going to set records and ABC and the dims might as well apply for asylum in the Cuban embassy. (There's one in Toronto, I think.)

I'm actually thinking about hooking my TV set back up for the weekend, just so I don't miss the fun.

BTW, I actually did hook the antenna back up, but got so buried in drivel when I turned the TV on to check the channel settings that I may only turn the thing on again to watch the first couple minutes of the program to get a feel for which distractor ABC went for, then put a proper finish on that letter to my dim "representatives".....ALL two of 'em.

Yeah...kinda like some sort of parallel universe.

Maybe we're trapped in the middle of a Star Trek episode.

Anyway, it's lotsa fun, even if I can't figure it out.

Which is why I think they've gone all out to stop it from being aired. They're afraid once it's out there they may not be able to spin it.

A little bit of controversy. The movies is making John O'Neil and Richard Clarke look very good. John O'Neil just defied the "secretary of state" (didn't say Albright's name) when they had the mastermind of the WTC bombing cornered in Pakistan. He defied orders and sent in the agents and they captured him and brought him back to New York. The trial is finished and all sentenced to long term prison (no death penalty back then for terrorists). The movies is still excellent in my mind.
