I guess we should call you Aussiehunk. (Thanks for the report.)
Good Morning & Thanks, Laverne. Charlie Cook nowadays hang out with Mathews a lot. So, he is losing whatever thinking power he had before.
And you would be wrong. I think the selection of the guests has everything to do with the show. Stephie will provide a platform for the Dems to dispute the "facts" in the docudrama. It is a setup for Clintonistas.
How does that guy keep getting work?!! Don't you have to win an election at some point?!
So far it hasn't gotten that far, it is still in 1995 when they are trying to catch the mastermind of the WTC in Pakistan (with Pakistan's help).
IMHO, Charlie wasn't showing any matthews tendencies (matthews: crazy, looney, spitty, moonbatty) this morning. I thought he did a fair job in answering the questions.
Many would and do argue that we should not. I just add 5 to 7 points to the pubbie side when I see one.
I hope you're right. If Disney does stand their ground it'll be interesting to see how the Dems react. Do they just stop talking about it hoping it won't have a big impact or will they launch an immediate PR counter offensive?
LOL......guess Cook forgot to mention that all his polling was done in NY, D.C, and all the other blue states.
G'morning all. Thanks for the thread AB.
Thanks & Congrats, Rod for your well deserved, consecutive winning. Just collecting the nuggets, post it when done.
I think the controversial scene takes place sometime in 1998 during the Monica mess.
That was YOU! How nice to have heard your voice :)
Oh yes, I remember that day and evening very, very well!
I voted that morning on the way into work. My polling place was not crowded, but was still seeing a brisk walk-in business. When I got off work on the drive home I listened to Sean Hannity who seemed very, very concerned. He was eagerly pleading with conservatives to get out and vote. I was troubled.
As the evening wore on I flipped through various channels but mostly stayed on Fox News. Juan Williams and Susan Ostrich were elated and the talk was about possible choices for a Kerry cabinet. Then Michael Barone came on and burst all their Kerry bubbles.
Michael simply showed that whatever the exit polls might of said, the results pouring in were far different. This was proved again and again as the night wore on. Fox and Michael Barone were the first (and only that night) that speculated that the exit polling might have been wrong.
The rest of the media was looking for some last gleam of hope for the Kerry campaign. I stayed up way too late just to watch and see if Dan Rather, Tim Russert, and Georgie Stephanopolus would actually start crying!
Well ....... it's Sunday again. What a lovely day, I say to my darling wife here at the breakfast table as we await the Sunday storm of propaganda.
Lets see............ the Sunday shows ............................ Howard Dean, Charles Schmuckie Scumbag (Scooter Libby and a bunch of others should hang your sorry *ss) Schumer, Richard Professional Criminal Ben-Veniste, Jamie (one ugly functionary hag) Gorelick of 'The Wall' Fame, and that Vietnam (or is it Cambodia?) guy John Effin.
****
Honey .............. would you go out in the garage and get me the arsenic for my Cheerios?
As do I. What irony it would be if the DBM's rosy picture of the Dems election chances causes cocky Dem voters to stay home.
So glad you got that little fact out there. Many many people heard that! WAY TO GO
Just like the exit polling on election day 2004 was mostly women from Philly.
