I am happy with that. I hope you are happy with whatever path you have chosen.

NIV Matthew 7:13-14
 13.  "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
 14.  But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Uh... did someone say CREATION??

NIV Isaiah 40:26
Lift your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name.

NIV Isaiah 41:19-20
 19.  I will put in the desert the cedar and the acacia, the myrtle and the olive. I will set pines in the wasteland, the fir and the cypress together,
 20.  so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the LORD has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.

NIV Romans 1:20
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

We don't all believe in Jesus, either.

Some of us do, however, believe in God, and have respect for Darwin's work.

HMmm....

John 6:28-29
 28.  Then they asked him, "What must we do to do the works God requires?"
 29.  Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent."

What about the 'supposed' miracles performed by Jesus?

4) I agree with him that there is no rapture.

HMMmmm.....

NIV 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
 16.  For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
 17.  After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
 18.  Therefore encourage each other with these words.

...this is not the usual thing we hear...

NIV 2 Timothy 4:3-4
3. For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
4. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

It just means that it was written very simply so that the people of that time could understand it.

And the people of THIS time??

NIV Romans 15:20-21
 20.  It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else's foundation.
 21.  Rather, as it is written: "Those who were not told about him will see, and those who have not heard will understand."

NIV 1 Corinthians 2:12
12.  We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.

NIV 2 Corinthians 1:13-14
 13.  For we do not write you anything you cannot read or understand. And I hope that,
 14.  as you have understood us in part, you will come to understand fully that you can boast of us just as we will boast of you in the day of the Lord Jesus.

And, I don't believe the Bible is God's word.

Does 'god' ever try to communicate with man?

I believe the Tree of Life gave man & woman some miraculous ability to live forever.

Safe bet! ;^)

Genesis 3:22
And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever."

If it's possible, then using God's physical resemblance to man as an argument against evolution falls flat.

Why?

I thought I made it clear that this information doesn't have any bearing on what it is that I believe. Carry on, if you must, and I'll do my best to refrain from saying anything that could be construed as insulting, negative, or deragatory.

What you posted has nothing to do with my Faith, or what it is that I believe. If that I believe, strongly, in God, isn't good enough for you, that's not my problem. If you'd care to keep your spirituality to yourself, then perhaps we can agree to disagree. If not, you're just going to have to deal with my lack of belief in your interpretation of who and what God is, the meanings and significance therein, and the differences in what we do or don't do to acknowledge that existence.

Because if it's possible that God doesn't have a physical resemblance to man, you can't use it as a supporting axiom in opposing evolution.

Logic.

One does not need to hold to the literal inerrancy of the Bible to be a Christian.
