Saint Mary's college is an enclave within the San Francisco Bay Area. One can still get a very solid education in any subject At Saint Mary's college. The campus is stunningly beautiful. An oasis of sanity amid liberal madness.

Response: After reading the press, watching television form time to time, seeing an occasional movie, talking to people over the last 40 years I have reached some conclusions. Americans of 2006 A.D. may fight for their rights. The particular rights seem to be adultery, sodomy, drugs and/or drink, eating,getting money, the 'Big Game,''privacy'(which really means perjury);and, their overevaluated arrogant egos.
I don't think St Mary's was where this message most needed to be heard.I think U\Cal Berkeley needs to hear it more !!!

The 9-11 attack would never have happened if Americans had not been conditioned over the years to act like submissive sheep when facing an armed thug. It wasn't just the policy of complicity during airline hijackings, it was the notion that "it just isn't worth it" to resist the armed robberies or violent intimidation. But the truth is, it is worth it. If every victim were to fight back, crime would virtually disappear. We outnumber them and we win in a war of attrition. And they know that so soon they will not even try.
Think about that the next time you hear some police chief telling you it "isn't worth" standing up to thugs.
