The Path To 9/11 - Clinton Goes After ABC Harder Than He Pursued Bin-Laden
Pipeline News ^ | 07 September 2006

Posted on 09/08/2006 8:07:15 PM PDT by Lando Lincoln

he Clintonistas are coming....in a panic borne of the necessity - to dispel the truth regarding how the Clinton administration failed on numerous occasions to apprehend or kill bin-Laden - the Clintonistas and Democrat party hacks like Richard Ben-Veniste alike are rising en-masse in a last ditch attempt to censor ABC's upcoming 6 hour docudrama "The Path To 9/11."

Clinton representatives drafted a four page letter to Disney Chair Michael Iger - ABC's parent company - demanding the film be censored or barring that its suppression.

"The content of this drama is factually and incontrovertibly inaccurate and ABC has the duty to fully correct all errors or pull the drama entirely..."

Ben Veniste attended an August screening of the film at the National Press Club and reportedly was so upset by the portrayal of Clinton as more intent on diddling Monica Lewinsky than dealing with bin-Laden that he got in the face of writer/producer Cyrus Nowrasteh and Gov. Thomas H. Kean [chair of the 9/11 Commission and a consultant on the project].

ABC - so far anyway - seems intent on sticking to its plan to air the now controversial film on Sunday and Monday evening, September 10th & 11th - the fifth anniversary of the attack.

"The Path to 9/11 is a dramatization, not a documentary, drawn from a variety of sources, including the 9/11 commission report, other published materials and from personal interviews."The events that lead to 9/11 originally sparked great debate, so it's not surprising that a movie surrounding those events has revived the debate. "The attacks were a pivotal moment in our history that should never be forgotten and it's fitting that the discussion continues." - ABC Television, September 7, 2006

Whether the film makes it to television relatively intact remains to be seen at this point. Ominously ABC has said that it is still being edited just days ahead of its slated debut.

The Clintonista's strong arm tactics with ABC speaks volumes regarding how fragile the Clinton legacy actually is, with a singular event threatening to sink his carefully crafted legacy of deceit.

The last word on this...for now anyway.

If anyone doubts the inherent Stalinism of the nutroots kiddies whom Harry Reid and Rahm Emanuel bend over to accommodate, one only needs to contemplate their intent to block internet access to anything but their own twisted version of "The Path to 9/11" via what they are calling a Google-bomb.

A Google-bomb - in theory only because it seems to us that the folks at Google should be able to program their algorithm's around such obvious fakery - consists of flooding the internet with thousand or even millions of cloned web pages to enforce the party line content on this whole sickening affair via manipulating key word functions and therefore their ranking order in search engines.

If there is anything that pisses off the higher ups at Google it is intentionally attempting to manipulate how the internet's most used search engine works, and the little despots in training at the lefty blogs might very well get a very rude awakening if and when they attempt this stunt.

No, silly, that would be a fictionalized account. Whether it' a lie one way or the other, the show would be garbage either way

I have no beef with you, why would you rekindle the issue? Now that's lame!

I didn't see when I posted my comment that the Admin Mod had already spoken. I suppose nothing further needs to be said, although it would seem an apology (from you to the other poster) is in order.

No, there is no need for an apology from me, but to me from the other poster. The poster was a jerk, I called him/her on it, and they went spaz. That's all.

have a nice day.

Funny, I too was thinking about the Nazi Party when reading this string this morning. Aren't the dems the party who is all for freedom of speach no matter what the topic is? Maybe the ACLU should jump in to save the 1st Amendment.

"(that he did diddle Monica"). Oh, how funny...LOL Diddling and talking are about all he can do, oh, and prancing around in front of people. Now we see he can be a bit thuggery, when it comes to his diddling legacy.

Soon the democratic party will make the networks sign an oath of loyalty. The democratic party will decide how, and against whom, the restrictions should apply. The more authority the new Nazi's have, the more it will use that authority to suppress unpopular criticism.

Come'on Mod...what was uncivil about that?
Just because he's not the popular opinion on this thread, doesn't mean he shouldn't be able to voice that opinion.

It has nothing to do with opinions. How they are discussed is a different matter.

If they can't be discussed in a civil manner, I have to step in. I trust you don't have a problem with that.

If ABC does pull the program then a new standard has been established and never again will we allow historical docudramas to be shown on the public air ways.

In other words, no one will every forgot and will make sure nothing in the future appears on the TV screen that is a historical treatment.

I predict that the "original unedited" version - which is out there - and one copy is owned by Rush Limbaugh - will find it's way to the internet where we will all get to see what was changed.

If there are big cuts in the aired version, there will almost certainly be available on the Internet various "original, un-cut scenes" that will be distributed as e-mail attachments, much in the same way MP3s are now. How many Americans have broadband Internet access these days? And this ham-handed approach to stifle free speech is bound to increase broadband Internet access, and to lesson the impact of the DBM/old media.

"They're in total meltdown."

Boy your are not kidding. I checked over at DU and everyone is ranting about how blatantly disgusting the film is. This is amazing since it hasn't even been shown to the public yet. :)

"They're going absolutely ballistic at DU - hehehe."

Let's make it simple for our friends at Democratic Underground.
The thread linked below has the most coherent explanation of Bubba's vigorous
pursuit of terrorists.
The graphic in the lead post explains it all very simply.

I don't blame Bubba for being an alpha male.
But letting a Monica Lewinski divert you from Osama?
Surely there had to be MUCH hotter babes in the interns stable!

Everybody knows Clinton just screwed around, threw D.C parties and BS-d everybody for 8 years. He didn't do anything for national security because Monica might mecome less horny and wet.

What a fake legacy to protect! We can all create this in our own personal lives if our hearts and consciences allow us the time to do it. Abnormal women are Clinton's attraction. So a lot of people died. And Bush is the one who must hold the funerals and clean up the mess.

THIS is what I'm very angry about.
