No problem. I wouldn't need any reward to turn him in, just the opportunity. Is that reward good dead or alive?

I'm right with you, t. I'd refuse a penny to get that SOB! It'd be a personal pleasure to *get* him, one way or the other. Cash goes to his family.

Thanks for the Bucky Ping.
I believe lightman mistyped and meant an additional $100,000 reward. As this article mentions, the reward is now $325,000.

What a lowlife POS this Phillips is and anyone supporting him isn't any better.
May the Trooper R.I.P. and God Bless his family.

I wouldn't need any reward to turn him in, just the opportunity. If I lived up that way (or the PS decides to head this way) I don't need a reward or opportunity to turn him him -- just the opportunity to get him in my sight..............

I was only aware of the 10K from the PA State Troopers. The extra 100 K from FBI should get even the most tongue tied singing and soon.
Can't end soon enough for me.

Philips has made it on to the FBI 10 most wanted list. You can view this worthless scumbag's FBI page here.

"His family and friends are accomplices to murder."
That's crazy talk. The guy was doing 90 days for a parole volition. He was wanted for breaking out 7 days early to see his grandchild.
If he killed someone after he got out and was on the run he needs to pay the price, but his friends and relatives had no way of knowing this ahead of time.

Should make for some interesting "deer hunting" in that area. Actually, they asked hunters to avoid the area for their own safety, IIRC.

If it's not accomplice to murder, it is definitely aiding and abetting the MURDERER of a police officer.

But he shot a trooper in April. From April on, while they were looking for him, the relatives had to know he was dangerous.
God damn all of them to hell.

June, not April, for the first shooting.

If he killed someone after he got out and was on the run he needs to pay the price, but his friends and relatives had no way of knowing this ahead of time. Philips escaped in late winter. On March 10 he shot and seriously wounded a State Trooper near Elmira. Many people helped him hide in the months between that shooting and his cowardly shoot-from-behind ambush last month. So far at least six people in NY and PA have been charged with harboring him.

He shot an officer back in June....this was the SECOND shooting of NY state troopers here. They knew he did that and with all those stolen weapons that he would do it again. They have no excuse.

The first trooper was shot on June 10th in the Elmira area. His partner rushed him to the nearest hospital, which saved his life. He could easily have died.

He "allegedly" shot an officer. Maybe his family doesn't believe he did it. Does he not get the presumption of innocents?
That's not to suggest that it's OK to give aid to a fugitive, but that's a long way from accessory to murder.
