September 6, 1966
Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood was born Margaret Higgins on September 14, 1879 in Corning , New York .
She married William Sanger in 1902 and they had three children. They lived in Westchester , New York for about 10 years and then moved to New York City . They separated in 1914.
In 1922, she married James Noah Slee, a millionaire from the 3-in-One Oil Company and lived in Fishkill , New York .
She died on September 6, 1966 in a nursing home in Tucson , Arizona just days before her 87th birthday and is buried in the Fishkill Rural Cemetery , in the Slee family plot, in Fishkill , New York .
Today is the 40th anniversary of her death. Please take a moment to pray for her soul and the souls of all who work for or support Planned Parenthood.
Just think of the bloodshed, proliferation of organized crime, the rise of the Kennedy dynasty, the Internal Revenue Code, the War on Drugs replete with the alphabetized military (DEA, BATFE), etc., etc.
See #21.
Oh please. Still not even close. Al Capone and the DEA compare to sending all the Jews in Europe to the ovens? Al Capone and the DEA compare to marching the Cambodian people out into the jungle to starve to death? You didn't just break Godwin's Law, you nuked it from orbit.
The Internal Revenue Code has enslaved us all, and don't forget what the BATFE does.
The Kennedy clan has also been very helpful in the cause for freedom in this country.
Besides that, Carrie Nation and her ideas are making a comeback.
In case you haven't noticed, there are more people in prison in this country than in China and Russia combined.
I stand by my comparison.
Well, I'm a guy who likes to look at the positive, so I'll admire your determination to be a first class moron.
Whetehr I agreed 100% with your assessment of the drug war or disagreed 100%, comparing it to the intentional slaughter of millions is truly idiotic. Go get a CAT scan.
Hopefully she's still dead.
I have a little bit different take on Mrs. Sanger.
Although I do not agree with abortion. I do believe that Mrs. Sanger first tried to get birth control to the poor women who were being used by their husbands for sex without responsibility and women were DYING very young for having a new baby year after year after year that they didn't want, nor could afford to feed.
I DO NOT agree that women should have to live like that.
I believe in birth control first.
I believe abortion should not be illegal but strictly regulated as a last resort in the first trimester only
I believe that women should be able to make decisions about their bodies but I think that they should know all the facts first.
I think adoption should be made easier and support for the birth mothers stepped up.
I do not see margaret sanger as an evil woman. I just simply see her as a woman who cared about the lives of other woman and their children. I don't think she knew what planned parenthood would become.

What if the baby is female, does she have a right to determine what happens to her body ??
Then you obviously are not aware that she was a complete and utter racist, one so virulent that she was chided by one Adolph Schickelgruber, when he decided that a long running series of correspondences would be fruitless in changing her mind... (Adolph Schickelgruber, was, of course better known by the surname his grandfather adopted for the family after Adolph's birth, that of Hitler...)

Please FreepMail me if you want on or off my Pro-Life Ping List.
She is a racist and an evil woman. As a young black woman it so disgusting to see many young woman (of any race) getting an abortion. I will have a moment silence for the innocent children that have been killed as a result of M. Sanger and Planned Parenthood.
God makes no mistakes
OUTSTANDING!!!!
Wow! (Shudder). I've always known she was the worst of racists (right along with Hitler), and read some other quotes, but that one is downright scarey.
I wish the truth of PP and its evil founder were broadcast everywhere.
Why The He!! are REPUBLICANS authorizing our tax dollars to be given to the foul organization?
Stuff like this makes me very depressed.
What about her race hatred and her admiration for Hitler? You know she wanted to sterilized black people and other undesirables.
You don't see this as pure evil?
That should read so-called "undesirables" - HER view, not mine!
Like it or not, Carrie Nation's legacy is the War on Drugs, the War on Tobacco, the renewed War on Booze, and the coming War on Junk Food.
I count the victims in the hundreds of millions.
You can disagree if you want, but get back to me when the BATFE becomes the BATFEN (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, Explosives and Nutrition).
I'm surprised you didn't have a problem with me including Rachel Carson in my comparison.
