This is just more AFP fluff. This has been tried over and over again. The article fails to mention that. Arafat refused this, and as you point out, Lebanon and the west bank are two recent examples of giving land back to Israel's attackers, only to be immediately attacked from those positions. As it is stated in the Hamas charter -its not about land, it's about Israel's very existence that bothers the cult of Islam. There will never be peace until Israel no longer exists. Then after that they will attack Spain, and the entire west because:

Any concession to these Islamic murderers is a step closer to that goal. The UN of course, is only all too willing to help Islam achieve that goal, as we see in North Africa.
