CNN just posted this comment President Bush today acknowledged that U.S. authorities have held suspected terrorists in secret CIA prisons around the world and said information obtained from them "has saved innocent lives."

This is rich...if they don't pass this he will use it against them in Nov! And if they do then Daily Kos will.
Beautiful.
Shalom.

Hello,
You didn't get that this was exclusively about the war? You know, the war we are in with terrorists?

Kristen Breitweiser, if it's her...in my local paper yesterday, The New Jersey Herald, there's a 10x3 advertisement of her book, Wake-Up Call. Two critiques, one by Larry David (no idea who he is), "Her story is an inspiration even to the uninspirable.", and a second one by none other than Ariana Huffington, "Deeply moving, eye-opening and unflinchingly honest." They forgot to say 'totally biased'! Made me ill seeing the advertisement.

WHY OH WHY didn't he wait and give this during Prime Time. Maybe he wanted the Dims to start shooting themselves in the feet on Katie's show starting today.
Shalom.

You know, I think you need to listen closer.
This may be old news for us who pay attention here, but it is not old news for the vast majority of people in this country.
THIS speech pulled it all together and put it in context. It is exactly what many of us have been wanting for months.

They've got 12 legislative days to take care of this.

This was to intercept the legal maneuvers of the antiwar activists. Maybe it will, if Congress actually moves on the Bill, which they won't anytime soon.
