Your letter recites four elements of a proposed "new direction" in Iraq. Three of those elements reflect well-established Administration policy; the fourth is dangerously misguided. That's gonna leave a mark. Or it would, if Harry could read.

Man, these democrats are not paying attention. Why are they so ignorant as to what is actually happening?

We appreciate your stated interest in working with the Administration ROTFL! I'll bet Bolten had a good laugh when he wrote that line.

They're probably reading the NYT and watching alphabet news on TV.
To: jazusamo
But this part really got me laughing:
Because your letter lacks specifics, it is difficult to determine exactly what is contemplated by the "phased redeployment" you propose. (One such proposal, advanced by Representative Murtha, a signatory to your letter, suggested that U.S. forces should be redeployed as a "quick reaction force" to Okinawa, which is nearly 5,000 miles from Baghdad).
HA! GO JOSH!!!!

Excellent response!!!!!
About darn time the Administration started calling a spade a spade. Democrats make the most outrageous statements and are never called on them.

It's about as far from Iraq as Maine is. May as well redeploy to Maine and boost its economy. What a dope that Murtha is.

That is a hoot. I'm really surprised he brought up Okinawa in his letter, it tells me he was just a little upset with the Reid's letter. And what can Reid say, it reflects the rantings of a delusional person. :-)

Harry Reid ain't seen a bee-itch slap yet. Wait until Rumsfeld is back in action, after his wing is all mended.

Senators who want Rummy to resign should themselves resign in protest, as a matter of principle, if Rummy's resignation doesn't happen. That would show that they are serious.
Otherwise it's just the W bashing of the week.
