She sure gave the media plenty to talk about with her inability to keep campaign staff.

My aim was to see Nelson ousted but I don't think Harris can do the job.
To: Free Baptist
Harris didn't help herself with all the controversies during her primary campaign.
To: Surtur
Your incessant verbal assaults on fundamental Christians are wearisome. See, there is where you went wrong. My assaults are not on Christians, it is on their inability to restrain themselves from imposing their beliefs on the rest of us.

I will support her but she better avoid the campaign controversies that plagued her primary run.
To: poobear
I'm a loyal Republican who wants to see Nelson ousted.
To: RasterMaster
You are forgetting about the Liberal MSM in Florida who definitely are not pro Harris. They started digging as soon as she entered the race.
To: JeffAtlanta
Maybe because she's a goodlooking woman with some Spanish heritage, judging from that beautiful bone structure in her face?

"See, there is where you went wrong. My assaults are not on Christians, it is on their inability to restrain themselves from imposing their beliefs on the rest of us."
That's not how I see it. Between you and Dave, you have managed to include every anti-Christian idiocy that the moonbats over at DU spout everyday.
Maybe you didn't say that Christians aren't allowed to participate in the debate, but certainly Dave implied it in his "good/bad" post.
Contrary to your beliefs, which you are attempting to impose on me, we Christians have the same rights as you. We may be as vocal in the arena of ideas as any other American. Just because YOU don't agree with our ideas does not give you the right to silence them, or consider us second class citizens.
Like it or not this country was founded by Christians. The belief in God is written into all of the documents used to begin this nation, and the Ten Commandments are posted at the Supreme Court. To most Christians God and Christ are one in the same. Christ was God's embodiment on earth.
Whether you believe that or not makes no difference to me. Outside of following the teachings of our religion, which is to minister to all people, most Christians don't care whether you or Dave S believe that a sporkweasel founded the universe. However you will not shout us down, and I will not allow you to carry the water for the Christian hating left in this country without challenging your statements. We are the most maligned, made fun of, ridiculed people in this country, and for too long now we have turned the other cheek. Unfortunately we don't have voice in drive by media, or Hollyweird, but we do have one on this forum. Also on this forum WE are the majority, so don't expect the pass you get at the local Starbucks.
That being said we know you hate Christians. Now tell us why you dislike Ms. Harris other than the fact that she is a Christian that's not afraid to admit to it. It seems to me that the basis of all of your venom towards this lady who stood up for the letter of the law, against all the personal attacks from the left, and the media in 2000, is based on the fact that she is a Christian who is not ashamed of the fact. So she said only Christians should be elected. So far I haven't seen alot of wisdom from the Jewish community in the fact they continue to support a political party that wants to see their homeland pushed into the sea. The rank and file Christian has shown way more support for Israel than the Jewish community has, just based on the people we elect to office.
Christians do not impose their beliefs on people, we just serve to remind you that there is right and wrong, good, and evil in this world. If you can't decide which side of that argument you come down on that's not our problem, It's yours.

We are the most maligned, made fun of, ridiculed people in this country Oh, boohoo. How many times are you going to play the victim card in one thread?
That being said we know you hate Christians.
You don't know jack. I have already refuted this statement, and will not get into a discussion over how I feel about Christians.
So she said only Christians should be elected.
This is just another great example of Christians attempting to use government to enforce their dogma.

Nobody boo hooing here but you. I said I wasn't going allow you to shout us down.
"You don't know jack. I have already refuted this statement, and will not get into a discussion over how I feel about Christians."
I've not seen any repudiation of this statement. As a matter of fact you started this with your anti-Christian "dogma".
"This is just another great example of Christians attempting to use government to enforce their dogma."
Again I see no repudiation of the facts presented, just more of you anti-Christian bias, and paranoia.
Jump in and eat the meat of my assertions, don't pick at the parsley on the side of the plate.

"Harris didn't help herself with all the controversies during her primary campaign."
Don't worry, we will have fewer and fewer controversies as time goes by, as the Republican and Democratic parties are merging into a one-party system (if this process is not already complete). And this is happening because we are nominating and voting in primaries for people based on their ability to get elected, instead of on sound principle. This ability to beat a Democrat is measured on the Democratic Party's slide rule.
With each passing election cycle, the Democratic candidates get more and more absurdly liberal and socialistic. The Republican candidates are then criticized for being too controversial if they hold on to any principle, and so their positions keep sliding in the direction of the Democrats so that they will be ELECTABLE.
So why elect any of them?!! Why don't genuine conservatives (the ones morally and socially conservative, as well as economic)move their support, money, influence, and so forth to an already existing, more old-fashioned, conservative party (there are a couple of them in existence), and send a strong message to the Republican party(?)....HALT THE SLIDE NOW!!!
