I don't know. If she does win it will show a trend toward Christian and conservative fundamentalist values which will make the libs foam at the mouth even more than they do. It makes the true conservatives foam at the mouth as well. That's just what we need, Christian fundies thinking one primary win is a mandate for their agenda.

Easy Victory Strategy for Harris
Paint Nelson as a Fidel lover, and he's gone in November

One thing about Ms. Harris, she's a class act. I sent her a personal note after the 2000 election debacle in support of her and her decisions and she wrote me back a personal thank you and how much it meant to her that folks were noticing and agreeing with her management of the b.s.

I'll take a Christian Fundie over a RINO any day of the week.

You know, I have problems with both Crist and Harris, they are not my ideal candidates, but I'll support them nonetheless in the upcoming election.

She is one of the few people who ever came out of a Hardball interview the clear winner. I was surprised at her poise.Glad to hear this.

I'm with you on that, with this disclaimer:
As long as said "fundie" candidate isn't an irrational zealot, like certain of their supporters, I will support them.
To: Constitution Day
I'm not really surprised at that. But will she beat Nelson? Latest polls show her trailing by 40 points, but a lot of people think Harris will bounce back to within 30, and that she has a chance to break 40% of the vote in November!

I think folks in Florida need to wake up and realize that for freepers in NY, MA, IL, CA, WA....etc.
We would love to trade any of our senators for Katherine Harris.
Look for the polls to tighten in Florida between now and November.

I've been a life long republican and staunch Conservative. That being said, I'd never vote for lunatic Katherine. She's a nut-case.

A true American is not welcome in todays politics. We voted up till now republican . We can no longer pretend we have a conservative or American anywhere in the senate or house .
The repubs have been running things for awhile now, and look at the decline of our nation ! No better or worse than demoncraps. Laura Bush who we thought was a lady with class after two terms of Hillery . Laura is a nasty mouth pervert like the rest, imo. For the first lady to tell jokes about the president of the United States milking male horses is just too much to believe . This even thumps Bills cigar trick, imo.

Go Kathy. Maybe a convincing primary win will remove doubt as to her chances in the Election.
I don't know much about him but Nelson LOOKS as dumb as they come. Something about those eyes.

She is her only threat. That's a pretty big threat, though.
In order for her to win the general, she'll have to admit that her campaign has been a disaster and overhaul her approach top to bottom. I don't think she is either able or willing to do so.
I suspect that she'll be emboldened by the primary win and her campaign will continue as it has to date, hemmoraging high-level staffers while making statements of highly suspect veracity.

"Her coverage on this forum has been almost totally negative which I have never totally understood."
I haven't been following this very closely but it seems to me that her coverage everywhere has been totally negative. Funny thing is, it seems to be creating a "sympathy" vote for her. You just can't keep hitting a moderately attractive woman without causing a lot of people to want to help her out. It's kind of like watching video of baby seals being clobbered. People will eat veal all day long and not shed a tear for the poor calf, but club a baby seal and watch out.
Personally, I don't care what she says or does from this point on. As JimRob says...vote for the Conservative in the primaries and vote for the Republican in the election. If I lived in Florida, I'd be voting for her.
