"I just did the same thing.
Lets all tell this man how much we appreciate his courage and intelligence."
That's you and I, and IIRC, someone else on this thread has done so...
ALL: OK, FRiends, get to typing! All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men (and women) to do nothing...
(OK, I'll add a "please" to that!)

And Hezbollah didn't expect Israel to go to war. Not a very perceptive bunch, are they? Unfortunately, they know the United States all too well.
They expect everyone to be like "Cut and run" Murtha and pelosi.
They know our own system will ultimately be our destruction, if we allow it.
PC will be the downfall of Western Civilization, unless people like Prof Wichman, and all the good people here at FR, and PW, speak out and take a stand.

Well, free food works, especially for college students. Give me pizza, and I will go to a Commie meeting.

MSU is not MU. I think he was referring back to MSU being called "Moo U" when it was Michigan Agricultural College. I don't believe it became Michigan State University until shortly before I attended back in the 60's.

All things considered it did not turn out so badly for King Leonidas and his 300 Spartans. Twenty-five hundred years later we still honor and praise them for their courage, loyalty, sense of duty and honor, convictions and for knowing that some things are worth fighting for and dying for.
These are lessons that many of our fellow citizens (dems) and Europeans allies have long forgotten.

What I meant is that Michigan State is not the University of Michigan, the "Harvard" of the Midwest.

Molon Laube..."Come and get them" I believe is the operative phrase for the honor and courage displayed by Leonidas.
I hope I remembered that correctly.
If I didn't, I'm sure I'll be corrected shortly.

What I meant is that Michigan State is not the University of MichiganFor one moment, when I first read the headline (A Michigan Professor...), I thought my alma mater might have a patriot on the staff. No such luck...leaving me in the uncomfortable position of having to salute E. Lansing, if even briefly :)

You forgot to add that we should contact the Presidednt of Michigan State University and let him/her know that we support and applaud Professor Wichman.

Michigan has, unfortunately, become a clone of the IVY League. Effete is the word, I think.

One doesn't have to be a resident of Michigan to be concerned about possible and cumulative undue attacks on Prof Wichman. MYOB.

MooU, referring to Michigan State University being, historically, an agricultural college. I take my kids to their farms a few times a year.
BTW, Dave--I'm a girl, but don't sweat it. Most freepers just think of me as one of the guys.

I'm not denying you your freedom of speech. I just said the President of MSU will be more impressed by a few well written letters by MSU alumns (potential contributors. I thought the objective here was to protect the professor but if you just want to flout your clout, dont let me get in our way. If it makes you feel good, have at it.

I wonder how Pelosi would
feel if she was forced to wear a burka?
Would she submit to Sharia?
