One more thing. Imus was pretty critical a couple of times of Brian Williams' almost apologetic interview of Iranian President Imawhackjob saying he never was so nice when he interviewed Pres. Bush.

Good morning everyone. I was unable to access the internet this morning, after having wierd things happening to my computer yesterday. I now have my cable power cord connected directly to my modem which solves the computer problem but leaves me without a television. This may be, on the whole, a good thing.

If you have cable internet and TV you may have a weak signal coming in. I had this problem. I called my cable supplier and they came out and fixed the problem.

FNC is reminding us multiple times that f you buy CITGO gas you're supporting Hugo Chavez. I'm switching to something else.

MSNBC is hysterical that the stock market might break it's all time high today claiming that's the reason for Bush's approval numbers rising.

Too bad Imus didn't chide Chris Matthews about the number of Hardball viewers:

CABLE NEWS RACE
TUES. SEPT 19, 2006
VIEWERS

FOXNEWS O'REILLY 1,932,000
FOXNEWS SHEP SMITH 1,405,000
FNC HANNITY/COLMES 1,396,000
FNC BRIT HUME 1,381,000
FNC GRETA 1,284,000
CNN WOLF BLITZER 912,000
CNN LOU DOBBS 848,000
CNN COOPER 790,000
CNN ZAHN 783,000
CNNHN GRACE 770,000
CNN KING 706,000
MSNBC SCARBOROUGH 444,000
MSNBC OLBERMANN 444,000
CNNHN BECK 425,000
MSNBC HARDBALL 413,000

If Matthews lost his cool over Imus saying Matthews was among the MSM who was initially for the war, just imagine how a ratings discussion would have upset him.

Dead last, Chris! Dead last!!! LOL

I swear this is true. Chris Matthews just said white people lie to pollsters. Then he cited two campaigns where the men who polled way ahead, ended up losing. LOL! 'Why don't they just tell the truth?", Matthews pleads.

somehow, I don't get it, he's tying this into race and ethnicity, and George Allen's Jewish mother.

"but leaves me without a television"

I believe that's against the law.

Again, I was zoning out and really wasn't listening to Matthews during that segment. I'm about ready for some Seinfeld.

Poor Chrissie has always hated it that people (like us) lie to the pollsters. Hey Chrissie, it's none of your business who I plan to vote for, or who I did-as in exit polls.

Looks like I'll have to play my recording of "ScrewBall" tonight.
I just love it when Chrissie is depressed. I so enjoyed Imus this a.m.!

Chris Matthews - Started off boring

Boring? As a rule I tune him out but when he started off complimenting the President for getting out there and showing the public he was in charged, something we hadn't seen since 9/11, it perked my interest.

As he began to analyze the reasons for the turn around, he couldn't contain his annoyance that the dems have lost their moment in the sun; that the MSM was not covering the war as extensively as they should and that Chavez's rumblings will keep GWB on the front pages, which is precisely what I believe prompted Rangel and Pelosi to come out in support of our President and gleam some spotlight.

BTW Rush played Rangel's comments made a few years ago which closely parallels those spoken by Chavez yesterday. Hopefully Hannity will have an opportunity to call him on it.

Well Hannity didn't disappoint by playing horrible negative rhetoric about GWB that we've endured from Albore, Pelosi, Dean, Kennedy and Sharpton. Difficult to distinguish from those of Chavez. What Sean should have pointed out is that many of these remarks were made during a time of war and that both Albore and Carter chose to criticize him while they were overseas.

FRIDAY

SOOOOO funny to hear Bernard and Imus rail on Nancy Grace. Imus said no one watches her show and the only reason he even knows her show exist is because it's part of his job:

FOXNEWS O'REILLY 1,932,000
FOXNEWS SHEP SMITH 1,405,000
FNC HANNITY/COLMES 1,396,000
FNC BRIT HUME 1,381,000
FNC GRETA 1,284,000
CNN WOLF BLITZER 912,000
CNN LOU DOBBS 848,000
CNN COOPER 790,000
CNN ZAHN 783,000
CNNHN GRACE 770,000
CNN KING 706,000
MSNBC SCARBOROUGH 444,000
MSNBC OLBERMANN 444,000
CNNHN BECK 425,000
MSNBC HARDBALL 413,000

LOL as I notice Grace gets more viewers than any MSNBC host that Imus touts.

I've sort of followed the story but she's just got a hard edge. Imus has had her on in the past. Wonder when the next time will be?
