I totally understand LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. But as you said the prices are just insane. And have been since the late 1980s.

I, for one, am not willing to pay a half-million dollar premium for nice weather. It just doesn't matter that much to me.

The nearly historic low loan rates created the high prices and the states just loved the increases in property taxes IMO.
