For me, the main race will be the Minnesota Senate race, between Kennedy and Klobuchar. Since it's a current GOP seat, it's very important that it be held.

Is it me or are all female republican Senators a bit ditzy and all democrat female senators bitchy? Just my impression. Are there exceptions?

I voted for Harris. The big problem was gallagher and crist should have flipped a coin - one gov the other senate. I just know Harris will drive the MSM crazy.

I expected her to win the primary. Unfortunately, I expect her to lose big in the general - and to continue to run a campaign that is a satire of republicans.

Oh well. I doubt any of the others would have beat Nelson either. Florida, like Arizona, is a state that ought to be a lock for republicans but never is...

I'll cry for joy if she wins the general, but I'm not going to buy any party balloons yet.

The GOP turnout in District 13 is much greater than the Dems, which bodes well for November. The seat should remain Rep.

we do not mind people posting from other states,but we do mind them constantly trashing our candidates and acting like they can actually cast a vote here in Florida. You can give your opinion,but mostly it has been a unrelenting trashing of a candidate that we really like personally and has taken untold amount of abuse from the dirty,filthy dems. Why do you not just state your opinion without the visceral hatred for a courageous woman. There are ways to disagree about a Candidate without acting like she is Pond Scum. Freepers are decent,kind, People,but I have my doubts about some so-called Republicans that do not save their nastiest comments for the Democrats,but hurl them at our Candidates.

Hardee has 4 precincts out, Manatee 2, and Sarasota 27. Not enough to close the gap for Detert. We have a winner - for better or worse.
