Sorry, but she did her job. She got a reward for it. The Senate's too important for that nonsense

Like Mel Martinez, the person she stepped aside for, is a real heavyweight.

I voted for Martinez in 04, and while he's not as conservative as we'd like, he's still better than a Democrat.

I don't know that someone that lives in Minnesota can vote in Florida legally, so whomever you support in Florida is irrelevant. Unless you are voting in two states illegally why not leave it to the Florida Residents to Support the Florida Candidates. Katherine Harris got my vote today as she did previously when she ran for Secretary of State, and thank God we did or we may have been looking at the Second Term of Algore now.

Best ones I've found are here:

No county-by-county however.

Except for Chafee, I agree with you. Any Rep is better than a Dem and deserves our support.

The Senate's too important for that nonsense.

Actually, Florida Republicans can make our own decisions on this issue, without the assistance of carpetbaggger elitists.

Thanks, RD. Everything you say is correct.

Being 1/4 Irish and 3/4 German, what can I say -- I love a good scrap. I always have. Sometimes I just regret that FR is only a callow internet forum and not a bare-knuckles boxing ring. $;-)

Had McBride won, I would've come here, offered my condolences, and said
it's time to rally behind him. I would not have gloated, because it runs
contrary to my purpose (winning the general election).

Well said, thats how I feel as well. The attitudes and opinions that have
been displayed between our own party members has been astounding,
that kind of crap would be seen on the DU or KOS site. but not here.

Thanks

Hi NN

When I told my Father-in-law on Saturday that I just voted for Harris he freaked out. He's a big McBride supporter. We were at a club where only members can buy drinks (I'm not), after I told him I voted for Harris he would only give me chips for cheap beer when I wanted a drink with a cherry. :)

Voting for Harris is like stikin' it to the man!

Sorry....

If you don't want comments from out of state, don't post the threads where everyone can access them.

Otherwise, you take what you get.

Everyone else has to deal with it.

I think she should have stayed in the House.

It's her money, her career, and her time that's being used, not yours. How does Harris losing to Nelson affects you and the others who have bashed her non-stop? It doesn't. It is ridiculous for you guys to criticize her, you didn't donate to her, it's not your money that's being consumed here.

"Voting for Harris is like stikin' it to the man!"

And then the Nelson man is gonna stick it to Harris by 40% in November.

Too bad that all that "let's do the honorable thing" was non-existant since Harris announced her Senate run. You laughed at her, made fun of her, said her campaign was fumbling, just like the Dims did during the 2000 election. Never mind that 90% of Harris' "fumbling" was the biggest media conspiracy since the days of Goebbels.

Hey, it was a primary election. That's what happens - people support the candidate of their choice to become the party's nominee. Harris wasn't "owed" support by any GOP'er until tonight. If you somehow missed that concept, I'm not sure what to tell you.

Ah, I see. "Let us move on..." hold hands, kumbaya. The old conciliatory tone.

Please see Lincoln's 2nd inaugural address ('With Malice towards none, and charity for all').

"Give me a break!"

No.

You have, to your dishonor, allowed the incessant leftmedia attacks of the last six years slowly infiltrate your thinking and influence your mindset. Deny it all you want, but this truth is plain to those of us who have successfully resisted the brainwashing, and you are obviously not alone.

But this can indeed be fixed. And the sooner you start, the better for all involved.

Cheers.

(Sigh) I don't see the point of all this Harris-bashing. If I was a Floridian, I wouldn't have voted for her, but I don't get all this deep-seated hatred toward her. Did she run over all of your dogs or something? While riding on that horse of hers?
