Yes. Those are military boots.

Whatever they are .. they're ON ROHRABACHER'S PROPERTY - and he should have them arrested for trespassing.
If you read the whole story you will see the boots are combat boots of dead soldiers. These protesters had placed the names of the soldiers on the boots. It maybe symbolism to some but Rohrabacher is not responsible for killing the soldiers. These protesters would have done better to bring the labeled boots to a local Muslim mosque and protested that they were not condemning the terrorists in Iraq. That it is the terrorists who are killing the soldiers.
