Well I grew up by watching Wild America and the National Geographic specials with my dad and I can say while they are informative they do very little to attract your attention.

a little baggie swam by meThey really do look like an un-natural piece of trash... especially when washed up on the beach.

Yes, my grandson loved his show & it was always a show that a family could sit down & watch together. Also, the interaction between him, his wife & kids showed a loving family atmosphere.

I used to watch Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, Steve made the re little show look very very boring in comparison, now we just have that boring and leftist Jeff Corwin to watch now.

I don't know if he was a conservative, but he did seem to respect the soldiers he was with on the Eglin AFB program he made. His task was to clear out the snakes from an area where training was going to take place, so that neither man nor snake would be a problem to each other. He was extremely excited about the fighter jet they showed him. Then again, he seemed extremely excited about life in general. Rather wearing to live with, perhaps, but nice to see. He and his exuberance will be missed.

Do you know what the recommend action a person should take when in your situation? Is trying to put distance between the two of you a good idea or is it best just to stay still?
To: lunarbicep
Oh no! How tragic. Prayers for Steve's family and associates. He seemed to be a great guy.
