There's a great documentary on 9/11 which began as a documentary on following a recruit for the NYFD from acceptance into the program through his first days on the job. It "coincidentally" put the cameras in place--both inside and out--of the Twin Towers for the tragedy.
This is a great documentary for high school kids.

OH the film by the 2 French brothers? I saw it last year, its a must see for everyone. I thought this thread was about a new scientific documentary by discovery.

That one was done, I believe, by two Franch brothers. It was a terrific documentary.

I saw that documentary. It was filmed by two French guys shadowing a engine company. Very vivid and very graphic. When it first aired in 2002, it was like watching the whole thing live again. Watching the scenes in the lobby of one of the towers where a NYFD chaplain was wandering around praying quietly, while bodies thumped on the sidewalk outside, and the company lieutenant tried to establish a plan, was shocking to the core. It was the chaplain that really struck me..
