According to someone I know who served with him, he was always pretty much that way. Whatever got him ahead, no matter who got stepped on.

I think everyone would benefit by going back a few months to when this 'Plame outing' first became the focal point.

Knowing what we now know it makes so many of the posts make sense and the way I see it is the Wilson/Plame 'outing' was nothing more than a fabricated diversion away from the real story about the involvement of Rockefeller, Mary McCarthy, the rogues in the CIA, Wilson and the Niger yellowcake and the 'Food For Oil' scandal.

Wilson and his cohorts led us down the yellow path and we all foolishly followed.
