I think everyone would benefit by going back a few months to when this 'Plame outing' first became the focal point.

Knowing what we now know it makes so many of the posts make sense and the way I see it is the Wilson/Plame 'outing' was nothing more than a fabricated diversion away from the real story about the involvement of Rockefeller, Mary McCarthy, the rogues in the CIA, Wilson and the Niger yellowcake and the 'Food For Oil' scandal.

Wilson and his cohorts led us down the yellow path and we all foolishly followed.

All due respect, most freepers deduced that the purpose of Wilson's lie was to shift attention and damage Bush at the same time. He knew he could count on the media's assistance. FReepers and the blogosphere were pointing out inconsistencies in the story from day one.

I don't believe anybody here foolishly followed anything, even when speculating about Fitzgerald's possible perfidy while hoping against hope that he would prove to be an honest prosecutor.

It's not anybody's fault but theirs that they've proved they can't live up to the standards expected of their positions. And I'm referring to Powell, Armitage and Fitz.

Well I will say this hoax did not mislead me. Clintonism had big big follow up plans for we the US in an algore administration with the first senator ruling the senate.

Funny thing happened in November 2000, algore did not win, yet he and his cohort Lieberman tried to prevent the military votes from being counted and took their selective vote counting to the courts.

Then there was the trashing of the White House and insanity reigned through the process of our supposed peaceful presidential transition. Hillry took the presidential 'war-room' down the street from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and set up shop there and that day when this witch took to the Senate floor and asked the Nixionian question holding that New York paper Mr. President what did you know and when did you know it, I knew then these pretenders were not going to make life easy for this nation.

The summer of 2001 was the get Rummy attempt, even in Congress because of his bottom up review.

Then 9/11/01 happened and this nation was dumbfounded, yet even that day these liberals of WDC elected fame and power took serious they were potentially threatened, yet they and their media hounds were mocking the actions of President Bush. Remember how many times afterward we were shown that video of President Bush in that Florida classroom when he was told of the towers being hit and how there was the attempt to portray 'he knew', or belittle his reaction?

No these liberals knew darn well without an algore in the White House that their global equalize all nations policy was going to get rays of disinfectant and their only hope of political survival was to muddy the water.

So along comes a well known of many years, government willing helper Joe Wilson (an old friend of Saddam's) pretending to follow Vice President Cheney's instruction to gather 'intel', actually instead, went on a mission to daub their walled government they spent 8 years in building.

The memo that was leaked out of Rockefeller's office was the 'road map' of what liberals intended on doing and Joe Wilson and his supposed secret woman was their trigger.
