Boy, you know...that is just what that city needs....Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to stand by and watch it try to rebuild. I bet those people down there feel 100% better about things now. Funny how they went to NO and not Mississippi...they would have been spit on no matter how desperate the people are....they may be desperate but they ain't that desperate!!

Fire escapes are mandated for certain residences in some communities. Perhaps inflatable lifeboats should be mandated in for most residences in New Orleans.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are important because?
Never-mind, the media has appointed them King and Queen.

to the energy cost reduction goals in the competition could save residents as much as $50 million.
Pitt initially contributed $100,000 to help underwrite the contest. It was announced Thursday that he contributed another $100,000 to help cover prize money. The winning team will get $75,000 and two others Fred Schwartz of Schwartz Architects in New York and Steve Dumez of Esckew-Dumez-Ripple in New Orleans will receive $7,500 and certificates of excellence. So why hasn't he donated any of his hard earned $$$ towards building these homes, rather than the contest for designing them - and the winners being in Chicago and NY. Aren't there architechs left in NO?
Seems like a waste....

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be frequent visitors to the city observing the progress. Well, it's about time!
I'm sure that things will be much better, now that the beautiful people grace them with their presence.
What a couple of assholes.

Like who cares what these two have to do or say. That's what I can't understand about these celebs. These publicity hounds want nothing more to be thought of as experts on something when all they really have are publicity machines.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be frequent visitors to the city observing the progress Oh thank God! I thought it was going to be Goldie and Kurt overseeing the rebuilding. Now I know that with Brad and Jolie, I no longer have to pray to see the city rebuilt! Because I know they will gladly sell their multi-million dollar mansions and move there, invest and personally see to it that they don't appear to be the steaming pile of hypocritical PR opportunists that they currently seem to be!

I hope some crusty ol' yat gives them a hammer or something to actually help in the cleanup. Of course the donations are appreciated but if they're going to be there anyway at least be prepared to work.
