"Maimed for a lie" was one of their commonly-used signsThat is so ugly I hardly know what to say. Great work you guys for countering that moral depravity.

You are Welcome from the D.C. Chapter.
Love your tag line.
'dustbunny',ummm, please stay away from my dog house, I have enough critters. Go bother BMW, he has a 61" screen. :-))
Hailing from Virginia - you need to come up on Sept. 23.
Enjoy the rest of the holiday.

Thank you both. The D.C. Chapter really appreciates the gratitude and kudos.
It is a trickle UP effect. Everyone's good will to us is directed to the troops. And they really do appreciate us being out there.
And, all of FRee Republic gets the recognition. The main times that we use the name "D.C. Chapter' is to ID our group to police as we roll up to counter the protest groups.
Enjoy the rest of the Labor Day Holiday.

My real point was that due to the heat and humidity of DC summers it is nearly impossible to remove enough clothing to be comfortable and still be properly modest.
Get well soon.

Well done DC Chapter stalwarts. Since I mustered out, standing in the rain is not something that I do. This summer soldier will return with the sun.

No problem, JVB.
You are a stalwart in many other ways. You've even been to the Olney FReep, so you aren't all that bad.

My comment was meant for all the FReepers attending the Walter Reed FReep.
I plan on attending one next Spring, because it is the best way of showing support for our troops, besides sending care packages and thanking them in person.:)

You made your point...my humor seems to have missed the mark.
I heard you made a safe drive to the rally and back. I am sure BillF was glad to sit back and relax for once, especially on such a bad night.
See you soon.
