You are terrific at getting to the heart of the problem..and that is the OTHER GOP members of Congress.
It was SO refreshing to hear Rick Santorum to come out and be proud of being on Bush's "side" 95% of the time....I haven't heard anyone else even come close to that stance.

If only more of our elected officials would stop running from the president and his agenda. It's disgraceful that they don't have the backbone or strength of their convictions.
As far as I can tell, the president is one of the few people in Washington, D.C., who says what he means and means what he says and doesn't wobble. He's not right all the time and he'd be the first to admit that, but he has more common sense and ethics in his pinky that the rest of the Congressional body put together.
