Thanks, Txsleuth. I missed the Sunday talk shows today for the most part because the Bishop came to our church today and there was a fair amount to do beforehand, so I'm so happy to read your report about Santorum.

You're always great at posting what you've heard so those of us who miss things can just go read your posts. Thanks a lot!

If only more of our elected officials would stop running from the president and his agenda. It's disgraceful that they don't have the backbone or strength of their convictions.

As far as I can tell, the president is one of the few people in Washington, D.C., who says what he means and means what he says and doesn't wobble. He's not right all the time and he'd be the first to admit that, but he has more common sense and ethics in his pinky that the rest of the Congressional body put together.

I think that Meet the Press is replayed at 10:00 EDT. on MSNBC...

I would never recommend it except that I was very impressed with Rick Santorum today...not only did he debate well...he mostly stayed true to his real record of backing Bush's agenda...and only pointed out a few times he felt differently..

BUT, during those times...he showed where he, personally, put up legislation to try to make changes he really believed in...he didn't just sit back and complain about President Bush, he WORKED to do something else.

If you have a chance, maybe you could watch it later..
