Regardless of his or Armitage's political views about the Iraqi war, they allowed a monstrous lie to grow for years.

While Armitage bears a lot of responsibility, its not all his fault. He did appear before the grand jury several times and he was asked by the prosecutor not to talk to the Press while the investigation was ongoing.

As Brit so brilliantly pointed out that the Grand Jury can only request that you don't talk about your testimony. It is a guaranteed right that you can talk about your testimony if you want.

With the Firestorm that was going on about Plamegate, he chose to NOT talk about him being the leaker?? It seriously damaged Bush during his re-election as his credibility was damaged. This was not a decision but an absolute Coup attempt with Armitage/Powell/DNC and the press.
