BUSH IS GUILTY!!!!

You're right, of course.

What bothers me is how Bush fell for this. Yes I know it was an election year, but he went on and on about how Fitzgerald was a great guy and he wanted to get to the bottom of it. Bush also admitted that he shouldn't have mentioned Iraq's attempt to buy yellowcake from Niger in his SOTU speech.

Bush got bamboozled by the State department with a little help from Colin Powell. Somebody paid Powell off, either he was blackmailed or got something for it. I have exactly zero respect for the man.

Then, while Fitzgerald's all busy trying to create the Drive-by media's wet dream of another Watergate, the administration sits mum about it all. NOW is the time for the Republicans, who are STILL the majority in our government I might add, to get out there and keep hammering on Joe Wilson and his lying ilk.

The Republican party needs me. I used to be a liberal. Liberal's minds don't work right. Republicans are guilty of thinking they play fair but get a clue, they don't.

They're not doing it. Every time someone says Bush lied to get us into this war, they should say "what's your evidence, Joe Wilson? We now know it was Wilson who lied. Your "evidence" is crap." But they let the lie just flop around on the table.

I love the angst of the same people who rant and rave about Bush "raising Clintons stature" want him to act like a Talk Radio host and go trash talk every wack job critic and whiner. Gee really would be a good use of his time to raise the stature of every whiner and critic. I think Abraham Lincoln said it best why this tactic is so utterly futile.

"If I were to try to read, much less answer, all the attacks made on me, this shop might as well be closed for any other business. I do the very best I know how - the very best I can; and I mean to keep doing so until the end. If the end brings me out all right, what's said against me won't amount to anything. If the end brings me out wrong, ten angels swearing I was right would make no difference."

A President is President of ALL the people NOT just the Always Whining among the Conservatives. To want him to act like a Trash Talking Talk Radio host is politically stupid. Reagan NEVER got down in the gutter with his political foes. All that does is smear MORE mud over everyone INCLUDING the President. It is one of the reasons Clinton got NOTHING done. He was so busy worrying all the time about his PR he did NOTHING in 8 years.

The people who ARE suppose to be a President's Defenders spend ALL their time shooting AT him. Maybe instead of whining constantly for Bush to come save them, the always pouting Conservative Talking heads and Congress critters might get off their butts and DO THEIR JOB here?

Ever think maybe this is why NO openly Liberal has won a National Election since LBJ? Maybe the "use to be a Liberal" crowd and the Terrified of the Junk Media crowd MIGHT want to consider WHY that side keeps losing elections? I seriously doubt their is any benefit for the political winners in adopting the political losers tactics.
