I was hoping that you were getting some thorazine.
Not snide, just helpful.
A very transparent snide, spiteful, derisive, personal attack and and forum-rules-breaking-insult is not helpful.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that.
Just an honest person to admit it.
So, it is your opinion that who ever commits sin, be it never so vile, is forgiven if they perform the right religious ritual?
Does that represent your POV adequately?
Not to sound too flippant, but I feel like I stumbled into an "X-Files" episode. Where's Mulder and Scully? Especially Scully, because she's a hottie... ;^)
Forgiving another person--even a very destructive enemy has not been a problem for me for quite a number of years.
What they do between them and God is a different matter.
And, forgiveness may have little to do with consequences for/of the sin.
I've never had the feeling that cheekiness was remotely close to confession and repentance.
It amazes me that supposedly bright reasonable people would be the least bit surprised that Von Braun would say such things about such topics. He was certainly tops in his field and floated routinely amongst folks in the know about such things. No big surprise in that. Rather logical.
And rather basic.
UFO PING LIST PING.
Please let Las Vegas Dave, Kevins Davis and I know if you want on or off the list
PING for an uncommon level of cheekiness
. . . . except, of course, about the UFO topic! LOL.
Thanks. Blessed to read of it. Not too surprised.
Those were the days engineers were born not produced. As an engineer today, I am amazed that anything was every accomplished without computers and autocad.
Don't misunderstand me. I think von Braun was a brilliant engineer and NASA was lucky to get their hands on him before the Russians did, thank you US Army. It's just the little grey men thing that has piqued my curiosity. I won't deny the very likely possibility that intelligent life exists outside of this Earth, but at the same time, an interstellar war is a reach, although I expect that the DUhmmies and Kos crowd, not to mention the RATS in Congress, will blame it all on Dubya if it ever happened.
I can understand incredulity.
Most folks haven't studied the topic for 4 decades plus.
Most folks don't have close relatives or friends working in confirming highly secret roles.
And, it seems that most folks are also mostly oblivious that the last 6-12 months have seen yet another escalation of the degree, quality, number of even MSM program stuff about such topics. And the stuff on the net has also escalated in quality, number, depth, breadth. It's more incremental than astronomical. However, some of the individual stories are quite . . . unique and startling.
God alone knows where all the truth lies amidst the disinformation.
But Times ARE A CHANGIN' and Walnut Grove will never be the same again.
Thanks for the ping.
For sure. And for your kind reply! LOL.
