Von Braun left the space agency in June 1972 to accept a position as vice president of Fairchild Industries. Several years later, the world’s most famous rocket scientist learned he had contracted cancer. His health began to decline in 1976 and was finally hospitalized later that year. He resigned from Fairchild Industries in January 1977 and was confined to his bed, growing weaker by the month. He died on June 16, 1977, only 65 years old. He was buried at Ivy Hill Cemetery in Alexandria, Virgina.

I believe it was in 1974 that Von Braun told Dr Carol Rosin--who was or also became a Fairchild VP--that the Soviet Union was going to be demoted as the world's boogeyman.
Then, there would be a war on terror.

Dr Rosin later was in a high level meeting at Fairchild with such puppet masters planning such things and she protested only to be slapped down firmly. She shortly resigned.

That's what happened. He had his men load 14 tons of technical designs and blueprints onto several trucks and had them hidden in an iron mine. Then, they sealed off the mine with explosives and scrambled towards the US Army's western front before the Soviets got there.
His ultra-secret laboratory was discovered by US forces hidden in an unassuming quarry far from the combat zones. It was a dawdling Allied general who dragged his feet on removing Von Braun's 'Magician's Cave' full of V1/V2 rockets and high tech machinery. The general didn't know that the laboratory was behind the lines in what was previously agreed to be the Soviet area of control, so not all of the equipment made it to White Sands NM.
Von Braun was smart enough to wait until the smoke cleared before he gave up the whereabouts of his life's work to the US and British. The Russians only got some fancy discombobulated parts, but the US got the cream of the crop in materials and personnel plus all the technical plans; 'Our Germans are better zan zere Germans'. He was the one holding all the cards. You bet your sweet patootie we made life comfortable as hell for him.
The men of Dr. Von Bruan's caliber today couldn't get hired making lattes, much less space exploration vehicles, at the new NASA.
At least give them credit for completely inventing the old NASA.
I hear that Mark Spitz wouldn't even qualify for the modern US Olympic Swim Team with the results of his past Olympic performances. He's still got nine gold medals.

I have no delusions about the uninformed and the swallowers of the MSM swill on the topic think or don't think. Have studied such topics since about 1960.
There are some things that are far more likely facts than some others. If one listens to Dr Carol Rosin's testimony on the DVD, with anything close to an open mind, I think her sincerity, IQ, experience etc. come through loud and clear. She's simply telling the truth as someone who was well connected with the power brokers.
This is essentially the same cabal that George Soros is such an effective front man for.
But that's OK. Best not believe anything that causes one to lose sleep or be extra alert or research things more diligently. Folks are far better off to just walk on by. Nothing happening. The MSM said so. And the government said so. The government said they were just testing crash dummies and weather balloons several years before they really used the crash dummise but one shouldn't let inconvenient facts bother one.
Von Braun didn't work on the V-1 program. it wasn't a rocket, but rather a pilotless jet.
Hope you find your new medicine more effective than what you are (not) taking now.
It's always amazing to me that folks who obviously have bothered to research maybe 0.00001% of what I and others have for more than 4 decades and yet are so quick and so confident with the outrageous personal insults.
Obviously they haven't had close relatives work in such areas and fields, either.
Actually, there are Freepers who currently work in such areas. Understandably, they are loathe to post anything significant openly. They values their lives and the lives of their families too much.
That's OK. The MSM expects to have converts and useful . . . uninformed folks dedicated to supporting all their disinformation and party line. It is sad, though, when they convince so many who are conservative instead of merely the normally ignorant DIMRATS.
BTW, my allergy ZICAM OTC med works quite well. Beyond that, the vitamins work quite well. But as a PhD in clinical psych, something tells me other meds were being snidely and insultingly inferred.
Par for the course.
I forget if it's on this forum or another that I met someone who's dad was a close colleague of Von Braun's. She affirmed at least the broad outline I've posted.
