Belgrade. The US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Serbian President Boris Tadic will sign Thursday a Status of Forces Agreement /SOFA/ in Washington between the government of the Republic of Serbia and the USA. The Agreement is connected to the protection of the status, the access and the use of the military infrastructure in the Republic of Serbia, RTS reported. It will deepen the cooperation in the sphere of defense between Serbia and the USA based on an absolute respect of the two countries’ sovereignty and the UN regulations. Besides, it confirms the need of strengthening the common security and the contribution to the world peace, the press office of Serbia’s President announced.
This is very nice, but i wait to see change of political stance of USA towards Kosovo and Serb republic in Bosnia. maybe, this is a begining of it?...
Ha ha.
No,m I belive that this signing of treaty is actualy destruction of Albanian dreams of stealing kosovo from Serbia
High level diplomatic relations are a good thing here. We share a common enemy.
Just out of morbid curiosity, how did you arrive at that conclusion?
Cause US troops need to withraw to somwhere when sht start to happen.
cant trough Macedonia, 1/3 of population are Albanians
cant trough Montenegro, Muslim population on borders
only route of extraction from Bondsteel is trough Serbia... just look at the map...
P.S. Is there any chance that the rest of us on this board bribe you to stay away from serious disscusions? An autographed photo of Bin Laden perhapse?
"The UN regulations" erode a country's sovereignty; nuclear weapons guard it. Serbia has little of the former and none of the latter. What's really going on here?
And what "sht" exactly do you think is going to happen, and why?
Only seven years out of date, much like your love of President Clinton.
Is that you, Monica?
I thought Monica on the 'tube' is what got him in trouble in the first place!
Boris Tadic is a traitor and doesn't respect Serbia's sovereignty at all. He should be booted back to Sarajevo, Bosnia where he is from. He should go live with the Bosnian Muslims, as he likes to take part in their mourning ceremonies for their fallen head-cutting soldiers at Srebrenica.
