That's a good question , I've heard nothing about any renunciation to islam . Maybe they are suffering from Stockholm syndrom , (sarc).

I haven't seen where they have done anything but praise the "beautiful" Palestinian people since their release.

They may be doing this with the full understanding that any denouncement of Islam by them would make them an immediate high-priority target of radical Islamisists -- a blasphemous Muslim being infinitely worse than the rest of us infidels -- but, I suspect that Centanni's praise of his captors is more a reflection of the stupidity implicit in his natural liberalism than a symptom of his fear of reprisal.

What, publicly? Are you nuts? The next people kidnapped by those bozos might need to 'convert' as well, to keep their heads attached to their necks. What do think will happen if this newsman and photographer get on TV and say, "Ha ha, it was all a trick. We didn't really convert"? I'll tell you what: the next ones kidnapped get their heads chopped off.
