If this soldier were a civilian who had conspired with his friends to follow a 14-year-old girl home, rape her, and kill her, everyone on this board would have screamed for his head, and rightfully so.
Is there something about putting on our country's uniform that makes him immune to such charges? If anything, this is worse. It's a disgrace to the uniform, the unit, and the entire country.
If the charges are true, then this man should be shot at dawn the day after his conviction.
OKAY LUNATIC. They are missing you at DU and the Kos play ground.
I pity the poor souls that don the uniform , only to fall prey to the very same rush to judgment they are accused of making on the battlefield.
War is hell.
I don't think this is the case you are thinking of. As I understand it this case is about soldiers who say they were told to kill men of military age and they came across men using women and children as shields- they basically seperated the men from the women and kids and killed the men.
I think the case you are thinking about is the soldiers that were supposed to be on a checkpoint and are accused of leaving the checkpoint to rape a young girl- then they are accused of killing the girl and her family to cover it up.
why don't you go back to DU?
